Nel 2012 Alex Polita ha affrontato le prime quattro prove del British Superbike in sella alla Ducati 1199 Panigale preparata dal team Jentin Doodson Motorsport, prima di interrompere di comune accordo il rapporto con la squadra inglese e tornare per il nono e dodicesimo round con il Team JHP Racing.
